Achievements and Bucket List

“We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us” – Charles Bukowski.

I know how cliche it is when someone overuses famous quotes, but sometimes I can’t help myself! The Bukowski quote above is by far my favourite quote of all time. I feel like it is almost our duty to do the most and best we can with what little time we’re given. It is never too late to start living which is why I have a bucket list to keep track of my achievements, my best experiences and my biggest goals. Having a bucket list and a clear view of your goals is great because it serves as a great motivator.

My bucket list is largely travel-oriented because it is my greatest passion and it plays a huge role in my life. To travel means to step out of your comfort zone and experience things you have never experienced before. It is through travel that we can truly get to know ourselves and grow in ways we never would have imagined. I recently reached the 50 country milestone and have no plans of slowing down!

My bucket list is constantly changing. Whenever I strike something off, I find myself adding 5 new things to it. I guess that’s a good thing. As we grow and experience new things, it is only normal for our bucket list to change. I have divided my bucket list up into things that I have achieved and experienced (basically bucket list items I’ve already ticked off) and things that I have yet to achieve or experience.
